The Arras College Advising Corps (ACAC) is seeking College & Career Advisers to serve in Chester and Lancaster County (South Carolina) high schools for the 2026-2027 school year. ACAC Advisers work closely with students and families to help plan for “life after high school.” Since 2017, ACAC advisers have helped thousands of students realize their professional goals and dreams for higher education. Recent college grads looking to make a difference in the lives of young adults are encouraged to apply!

Job Description:

ACAC advisers are assigned to serve directly in public high schools in Lancaster and Chester County, South Carolina.

As an adviser, you will:

  • Improve and transform students’ lives
  • Gain hands-on experience in community improvement and engagement
  • Develop highly transferable skills in leadership, problem-solving, and event planning
  • Network with leaders in K-12 education, higher education, community-based organizations, and state government
  • Participate in professional development opportunities

IMPORTANT NOTE:

This is NOT a position at the Arras Foundation office. In your cover letter, please indicate the county (or counties) in which you would be willing to serve (Chester and/or Lancaster, SC). Advisers must currently live or be willing to relocate to their county/area of service.
